The officer reported that the client did not apply his brakes when approaching a red light and then came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the intersection, crossing entirely over the stop line. The officer stated the client was having trouble staying within his lane, crossed over the double yellow line twice, did not use his turn signal while turning and eventually traveled on the wrong side of the road for 300 feet. The officer reported that after stopping the client, he smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car, the client used the door to climb out and was unsteady once on his feet, stumbling several times while walking to the back of the car. The officer further reported the client had bloodshot and glassy eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed the walk and turn and one leg stand field sobriety tests. BAC 0.16. CASE DISMISSED
